Industrial Training Institutes works under Department of Employment and Training, Government of Gujarat. The Vibrant State of Gujarat  has got proud presence of Industrial Training Institutes in almost all the Taluka (Block) of  State. These Institutes are popularly known as ITIs

Industrial Training Institute Jamnagar is playing a pivotal role in skilling the youth of the country since 1957. Located in the heart of the  City Jamnagar, Institute has track record of making youth skilled and employable. Institute has got state of the art training infrastructure to impart job skills to youth. 

Started with skilling 46 trainees in rented building "Hunnar Shala" (હુન્નર શાળા) near at New Jail Road of Jamnagar in 1957.   

Then Institute got  its own land near Sat Rasta, Sumer Club Road in the city and in 1962 started training here in institutes own campus. The Stone laying foundation laying ceremony was done by Jamnagar Maharaja Digvijaysinhji. Then Institute started developing its training Infrastructure.

Today Institute has got Vibrant Campus in 20 Acres of land in the middle of the city on Sumer club road near Sat Rasta Circle Opposite to ST Bus Depot and Institute has got state of the art training infrastructure to impart job skills to youth and  training almost 2500 trainees at a time with a highly qualified and experienced team of more than 100 Instructors and Trainers.
